Okay, this forum seems a little limited to my editorials and they only come out every three weeks. So I am expanding this to serious discussion. You can talk anything serious that you feel would not belong in general chat. You can talk about 9/11 or Communism or whatever you really wanna seriously talk about. There are some rules, of course.

1. Respect! Keyword that I will be emphasing here! Respect for the topic, for the person, for the idea! This will apply to life later on as you will meet people who has different ideas, you need to learn to respect their ideas.

2. Dignity! Don't inferior yourself by insulting or trash talking an idea. If you disagree with an idea, put it nicely.

For example:

Me "I hate George Bush" which I don't.

Don't say, "Well, you suck!" What kind of people are we if we say that?

Instead say, "Well, I disagree because he has helped our economy, blah, blah" That is a dignified answer and that is the way you should handle stuff.

If you feel the need to say something that you feel inappropriate or that will offend someone, use PM. It has the same function in real life where you can talk in private.

This is what I had intended when I put in the forum description "other thought out ideas."
