*Grins* I thought you'd NEVER ask ;p Hot off the presses.
It could be for the best it ends this way, In silence, dark and black as velvet death With not a single word for us to say, It must be for the best to end this way, My feigned indifference lasting but a jot Then just as fast seen through as finest glass Fooling not even me much as I try Believing in my comforting deceit That it is for the best to end this way, Not as two halves but two completed wholes (Which she must know as plainly as myself To be a blatant lie for splitting this, A union grown too long to be well-kept) That now can turn about, one there, one there, To walk off in seperate directions, As it is for the best it ends this way, Without a public tear from I nor her, Though many may they number when alone Hidden within the shadowy abode We each of us has made in which to hide, A seal atop to keep away the sun With heart and hand so willing to give aid, In silence, dark and black as velvet death With not a single word for us to say, It must be for the best to end this way.

well that totally puts the poem i wrote when i was 14 to shame.
In the city of York, Two missiles of death smashed into the American dream. In the blink of an eye, life as we know it was changed. The inferno seemed to devour our spirit as it engulfed the towers, A gray, choking, mist billowing into the gentle blue sky. Clouds of debris and people fell to the earth. The towers sank into a quicksand of death. Yet out of the blaze came hope and unity. So bright that the entire world could see it.
Seeing it, behind the corner coming for me nowhere to run, nowhere to hide wanting me, seeking me can't run forever, must face it Madness comes to everyone\n\n
Just came up talking to (someone's name here) a few minutes ago. Pretty dark. Changed the line spacing for poetic merit.
"Inspiration is a fickle and malicious beast. Having it around is not a blessing But a curse; It does not allow the ideas you wish to express to come from you As a comforting lover evokes your truest feelings, But like a rapist forces new thoughts upon you, Tearing through the familiar feelings of your flesh Until it reaches what it seeks And satisfies itself with you. Then it leaves you Broken and weeping on the ground To cover yourself as best you can, Shamed and alone."
Halo of the Four Great Seas, brings all foes to their knees. Halo of the Four Great Men, really loves the char of Len. Halo of the Guardian Four, people beg for more, more, more. Halo of the One Great Power, brings all the ladies just one flower. Halo of the Final Winds, brings home all the wins. Halo of the Forums, forever yours. In heart, in spirit, In body, in mind, may the power of the gods be divine.

Great, eh?
Well, it may put my char to glory, but a poem's a poem, right?
And yet, here's another one I just now wrote:
Goodnight, my love. I know thou shalt lay to rest soon. Whenst thout hast settled, I shall settle, too. I shall see you soon, my love, for my soul intertwines with yours. My heart and soul are now forever yours.

They stand with their arms tightly around each other a mixture of flesh, so rich in days where the sea touches the land she wants to tell him the truth
But the wind eats her words where the sea ends she holds his hand, trembling and kissed him on the forehead
She carries the evening in her chest and knows that she must wither away she lays her head in his lap and asks for a last kiss
and then he kissed her where the sea ends her lips, delicate and pale and his eyes tear up
The last kiss was so long ago the last kiss he does not remember it anymore
Angels descend from the heavens, And Demons from the ground. The fight will soon begin, For the humans chained and bound. They stand there ready and willing. All standing their grounds. The battle will be everywhere, The Supernatural has no bounds.
A single sound of the shofar, Has just begun the war. The Angels with their righteous cry, And the Demons with their roar. The sounds of clashing blades, Echo as the Light, And the Darkness battle, For eternity
