Arkmam's answer is correct. Just because he is in a blank room doesn't mean there's nothing in it, because the man is in it too. Here is another: A man lives in an arpartment. The apartment has fifty stories. On sunny days he takes the stairs to his apartment. On rainy days he takes the elevator. Why?

Hey, I was correct on the diamond. My turn! What object has keys that open no locks, space but no room, and you can enter but not go in?

The man is short because he uses an umbrella to push 50 on rainy days. I knew that one. A riddle.
