((*Doesn't remember the trap Romku refers to. ^.^"*))
Tcha, ungrateful... Shajde's mutterings faded into whispers as she pushed herself up. Fine, if he'd decided that was how he wished to fight, she would step up a notch.
It was a simple thing, really, from an observer's point of view. As she stood, she simply took up a handful of dust from the ground, pivoted and released the dust in an arc through the air, extending her arm straight outwards as she rotated. It was after, when she cut through the dust arc with her open hand, that it began to look interesting. The split streams of golden dust seemed to hover a moment in mid-air, then began to glow, brighter and brighter until they were as two tiny stars shining in the sky. Particles began to explode, first one, then a pair, then many at once, until a wave of small explosions filled the air before Shajde, hiding her from view with a wall of sparks and smoke.
She charged, her earthy armor covered in flames, as though she were a living torch, and while wind extinguishes the weak flame, it causes the powerful inferno to spread. She struck at the fortified Romku, and even as he blocked with the speed of a great gust, they touch exploded into a great, burning typhoon, the very air around them scorching white-hot so that the world was blotted out by a great layer of light. Even beneath her earth exterior, Shajde could feel the heat of this great flaming typhoon wind burning away the skin of her hand where it touched Romku's arm.
After causing this firestorm to envelop the cemetary, Shajde flipped away from the spiriter, still covered in her own cloak of flames, and smiled. All she needed to do to make the storm stronger was touch him again, but even as it was now, surely it could not be pleasant for them to stand in such blazing winds.
((#### need to edit.)) The winds raged as well as the beautiful flames and Sage tried to roll out of the way. An explosion tossed him back and he was flaceplanted on the ground.
Sage shook his head as he got up from the ground. His dragon's tear began to glow a mystical white. This wasn't a color ever seen on it! He looked on in amazement as a weretiger appeared and flashed before him. A green beam shot out of the pendant and flew forward, zipping past the other fighters. It made a U-turn and flew back directly at Sage, a tiger's head roaring out loud. It hit him hard and with a flash of white light it began to wash past him. When he emerged he was no longer the winged warrior everyone knew. He had fuzzy cat-like ears, bright green cat eyes, and a unbuttoned vest-like shirt with white pants. He looked at them contentedly, his eyes watching them. He had dark brown stripes on his arms and face, and his feet were huge claws. He stretched a bit. He looked a bit buffer, and it dawned on Shajde.
"Oh, the Woren side of him I presume?" she said with a half laugh and he grinned. Two gleaming daggers hung at his sides.
"Eh, I guess my small bit of Woren blood has been broughten to light. Shame, I miss my wings!" he said as his tail lashed around, furry and stripped. His hair had a redish tint ot it, and it hung low in his eyes. He eyed Shajde, who had taken her attention of Romku a bit. He grinned and his ears twitched.
"Lets go, I don't have all day!" Sage said, laughing.
((Ok, I know Sage is only 15% Woren, but because he looks like a standard full blooded Windian, at 85%, he has some weird trigger effects, making him 100% of both clans, or one or the other. =) ))\n\n
((Shajde, remember when one of you turned to stone and held my arms and legs so I couldn't move, and the toher one of you had two blades to my neck? That was the trap!)
Romku was starting to hurt from the flames. His arm was torn up badly and need a way to stop the burning.
"The flames are hurting! Wait a min....I have an idea! Tornado Rage!"
Romku held on to his shriuken, and started to make a tornado. The tornado was growing and growing. Sage and Shajde were pulled in. The tornado was different this time. The flames that surrounded Romku began to spark through the tornado. Every cut that Romku dealt, the fire from Shajde's move burned the cuts, causing pain with every slice. Was there a way the warriors could get out of Romku's flaming, cutting tornado?
((Prepare yourselves for the shortest battle reply ever!!))
Knowing that the flames of the tornado would do as much damage to Romku as his attacks were doing to herself and Sage, Shajde was content to mold her armor into a more pure stone form to deflect his blade attacks. Stabbing a rock destroys the blade, not the stone, after all.
The Woren Sage was unlike his normal gentle winged hybrid. He grinned after Shajde's move, and spun with the wind, thrusting a clawed pawed right at Romku's face. Claw met with skin and there was a bit of blood, and Sage flipped back and landed on his feet very elegantly.
"Nice moves you two! Shall we lighten things up?" he thrust out his arms, one finger extended towards Shajde. A series of loud purring like noises that turned into roars were heard and lightning rained down on the warriors. His strongest lightning spell was actually somewhat weak but it atleast stunned them. He drew out his dual daggers and sliced upwards and horizontally at Shajde, her armor deflecting the blows with ease.
((Too lazy to write an actuall ending to my post XD))
Romku is starting to wear out from the pain of the tornado. Romku falls to the ground, making a crater in the ground.
"Dang. Shajde is too smart for this. I have to try something else. I'll have to wait until Sage gets Shajde out of her stone armor. I need to recover anyway."
Shajde could not see through her stone shell, but she could feel the rhythm of the Woren's attack: Slash slash pause slash pause, and repeat. There, the beginning of the cycle, that would be the best time for it, riiight....now!
As his blades closed in on her armor, Shajde shattered her armor with a great bellow, throwing her arms wide. The stone shell burst into a cloud of shards, flying outward like shrapnel in all directions. In a matter of moments, she had summoned the Harvest Moon into her hands and tore the sickles from their slots, throwing them with blurring speed at the cat man and taking the swords into her hands the moment the crescents were airborne.
Sage saw this move at the last moment and dived, his left arm taking a hit. He let out a grunt of pain and rolled onto his feet, pouncing the woman from the side. He pinned her and grinned.
"Hey cutie, looks like you let the cat out of the bag." he said, and dug his claws into her sides. He jumped a bit and came down on her stomach with his claws, slashing her up some more. He flipped off of her and heard Romku make a slight move. He turned his attention to his location and ran at him at full speed....
Romku saw Sage charged at him. Romu fell to the ground, grabbed Sage's arms, and threw him over himself. Sage hit the ground lightly, but was ready to attack again. Sage got one claw across Romku's face, but Romku gave three punches to Sage's stomach and kicked him back, giving him more room.
"Take this Sage! Hyaa!"
Romku started to gather some of his energy. Then suddenly, Romku blasted ki ball after ki ball (ki is energy) towards Sage. Sage was dodging most of them with ease, but some hit him, leaving him a little injured. Romku gathered more energy, and lauched a new attack at him.
"Honor Cannon!"
The honor and sportsmenship of Romku turned into a ball of energy. Romku was always a fair fighter, so the energy was huge. He launched the cannon at Sage, but would this move hit?
((Tcha, I guess if everyone else is doing it...*looks at Sage with minor dissappointment*))
From her position lieing flat on the ground, Shajde waited for her crescents to return and caught them as they did so. Kipping to her feet, she used the momentum of the flipping technique to launch the crescents again, both towards the Woren.
Once her feet reached the ground, she dashed as a blur of black and brown towards Romku. As he was focused on his attack towards Sage, it was easy to sneak upon him from behind and smash the hilt of her sword into the right side of his neck while simultaneously sweeping his legs from the left, dropping him to the ground quickly after his cannon fired. Instead of following up her attack, Shajde leaped backwards through the air, skidding to a stop as she landed nearly twenty yards from either of them, a sword in each hand as she readied her defense.
Sage grinned as the Honor Blast came up to him, and he got prepared to dodge when Shajde threw her cresents.
"Awe crap......" Sage leaped straight up into the air but forgot one importan detail.
"No wings!" he came down just as Romku ran up to his landing spot and greeted him with two fists the the stomach and a heel to the shoulder. Sage rolled along the ground and sprung to his feet.
"Gah, damnit! Can't make that mistake again!" he shook his head and looked towards Shajde and grinned.
"Hey good looking!" he said with a purr and got into a fighters stance.
((WTF is this attack you keep doing Shajde? Please explain it! =) ))
Shajde waited for her crescents to return and caught them as they did so, sliding them back into their places with the sword blades and reforming the Harvest Moon. She grinned at the Woren. Hey yerself, she replied.
The Harvest Moon spun onto the ground like a top when Shajde twisted it in a quick motion, drilling into the ground in a matter of moments. Before the dust had even cleared, Shajde dug her hand into the earth and took the weapon by its heart, tearing it up through the soil. As she did so, minor explosions tore along the ground in a line towards Sage.
While the explosions were charging, Shajde dashed along behind them, her complex yet elegant weapon at the ready for her next attack.
Sage laughed at the attempt by Shajde. He was quite cocky in this form but it was still all good. He spun around and made a dash for Romku. The beam was right behind him when he got right infront of Romku, leaped over him, and kicked him in the back, knocking the already injured warrior forward.
"Sorry bout that! Hehaha." Sage spun around as Spiriter and attack collided. He hopped around then winked at Shajde.
"Is that all you have?" he said in a mocking sort of way.\n\n
Tcha... Shajde muttered, allowing herself to fly through the air for a moment. When she had readied herself, she flipped about in the air until her feet touched against a shard of ice, the only bit of substance she needed to shift her momentum foward. Leaping foward in staggered streaks of motion, she skipped from shard to shard, blazing along the flying ice towards her attacker until she could dive directly toward him, a torpedo from the sky.
As she fell, she began calling a small gust of wind around her, charging some of her strength into one hand. Just before coming into striking distance of Romku, Shajde released the gust of wind beneath her, throwing her into a sudden hover just a few feet above the spiriter. Immediately she threw out her hand, blasting a wave of force down into the man's face.
